Rotary is a service organisation. We act locally and globally according to our motto Service above Self. Our international humanitarian service is carried out and coordinated by our Rotary Foundation and in cooperation with authorised partners.

Local projects are carried out by ourselves or in cooperation with other non-profit organisations. Our goal is always to make sure that the full support amount reaches the target group without any administrative cost.  

We try to find new service projects every year but for good reasons, a project can also span over multiple years. Local projects can also support district-level projects with a broader theme and some local service projects can also get funding from the district.
